Job Description

Our client is in the government sector is seeking a Warehouse Specialist for special projects. The Warehouse Specialist will be assist with administrative and warehouse functions. If this sounds like you, we are looking for someone with who has experience working in a warehouse and performing administrative duties...Valid driver's license is required.

Job Requirements

Candidate must be able to:

  • Issuing and distribution of commodities to include: water, ice, cones, umbrellas, event signage, office appliances (microwaves, mini-fridges), clocks, tents and fans
  • Special Projects to include mass distribution of commodities, like equipment, food, and water
  • Internal office/storage small/medium scale moves for offices
  • Food & Beverage Distribution on an as needed basis
  • Providing drivers for picking up and returning rental vehicles
  • Coordinating light tower pre-staging
  • Coordinating with various operational elements for Mission Support related logistical requirements
  • Special Event Support; Labor Day Concert, Memorial Day Concert, 4th of July Concert, Congressional Football, Baseball, Women’s Softball,  and Soccer games
  • Monitoring radios & email for support requests

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Good oral, written and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • Ability to use a forklift and/or pallet jack
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
