Temporary Concierge – On-Call / Short-Term Assignments

Location: Varies (Washington, DC / DMV area)
Assignment Type: Temporary / Contract / On-Call
Schedule: Varies by client needs (weekday, evening, or event-based shifts)

 

Compensation

  • $20/hour for weekday assignments

  • $25/hour for weekend assignments

 

Position Overview

Our clients are seeking polished, customer-focused Temporary Concierges to support front-of-house operations on a short-term or as-needed basis. These assignments are ideal for individuals who excel in hospitality, client service, and professional environments, and who can quickly adapt to different settings.

Concierges serve as the first point of contact for guests, tenants, and visitors, ensuring a welcoming, efficient, and high-quality experience.

 

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities may vary by assignment and client site, but typically include:

  • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and tenants in a professional and courteous manner

  • Manage front desk operations, including visitor check-in and badge distribution

  • Answer phones, route calls, and respond to general inquiries

  • Coordinate with building management, security, or administrative teams as needed

  • Provide directions, building information, and local area recommendations

  • Support meeting rooms, events, or special client requests

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable front-of-house area

  • Log deliveries, packages, or service requests as required

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in concierge, hospitality, front desk, reception, or customer service roles preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Professional appearance and demeanor

  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and procedures

  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

  • Comfortable interacting with executives, guests, and the general public

  • Basic computer skills (email, calendars, visitor management systems)
