CPA firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to perform full-cycle accounting. The Senior Accountant will oversee audit planning and fieldwork for a variety of non-profit organizations and for-profit privately held businesses. If this sounds like you we are looking for someone with non-profit accounting and AdvanceFlow audit software, Lacerte tax preparation and QuickBooks accounting experience. Must have a CPA license or actively pursing a CPA license.

Candidate must be able to:

• Oversee audit planning and fieldwork for a variety of non-profit Organizations and for-profit privately held businesses
• Supervise and train staff on audit fieldwork procedures and audit theory
• Complete management of compilation and review engagements
• GAAP Financial Statement preparation and analysis
• Prepare individual, corporate and non-profit income tax returns and business filings
• Prepare comprehensive tax planning and analysis for individual and corporate tax clients

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (plus the 150-credit hour requirement must be met for CPA licensing)
• 2-6 years in the public accounting field
• Non-profit accounting experience a plus
• Must have CPA license or be actively pursuing CPA license
• Self motivated and strong analytical ability
• Exceptional project management, analytical, research, and written and verbal communication skills, coupled with the utmost attention to detail
• Dedication to development and enhancement of team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously (multi-task) and effectively and efficiently prioritize and meet deadlines
• Maintain professional demeanor and confidence communicating with clients
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft word and excel
• Experience with AdvanceFlow audit software, Lacerte tax preparation and QuickBooks accounting software is a plus
