Now Hiring: Full-Time & Part-Time Registered Nurses

NRI Staffing is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join a behavioral health team within a secure correctional facility in Washington, DC. Pay

• $50.00 per hour

Schedule

• Full-time and Part-time opportunities available
• Part-time requires a minimum of 3 shifts per week
• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Complete nursing assessments and evaluate patient conditions
• Document patient care accurately and promptly
• Monitor patient safety and respond to behavioral or medical concerns
• Assist with medication administration alongside the healthcare team
• Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment
• Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, LPNs, and other clinical staff
• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and crisis situations

Qualifications

• Active Washington, DC Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Minimum 1.5 years of RN experience
• Behavioral health, psychiatric, emergency, correctional, or medical-surgical experience preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a secure environment
• Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented

Required Credentials

• Current CPR Certification
• Copy of Active RN License
• Nursing Diploma or Degree
• Hepatitis B vaccination (or signed declination)
• Current Flu Vaccine (or signed declination)
• MMR Immunization
• Current TB Test or Chest X-ray
• Tdap (within the last 10 years)
• Varicella Immunization
