Seeking a top-notch HR Generalist to join a credit union located in the PG County, MD area. The ideal person will have 2-3 years of full-cycle HR experience who can handle duties independently, and help the HR team with recruiting, employee relation, payroll and benefits. This person will be performing a broad-range of human resources activities (employee relations, recruiting, maintain a fair and equitable compensation program, developing personnel policies and procedures). The Union offers free parking! This is a temp-to-hire opportunity. The HR team is hoping once they select someone for this position, which they will eventually come on board as a perm employee. This is s great position for someone who is majoring in HR/Business or just graduated with their degree and who has a couple years of experience. You will certainly be challenged and have the opportunity to juggle multiple things in this role.
- Full cycle payroll (bi-weekly)
- Monitoring paperwork - I-9, W4, etc.
- Full cycle recruiting
- Tracking and managing health care benefits (Health/dental, Life/STD/LTD, Paid time off, 401K, Unemployment, FMLA, COBRA)

- 2-3 years of exp. in HR
- Strong communication skills
