Job Description

DC based law firm, is seeking to hire a Firm/Office Administrator to join their team. This individual will oversee the accounting/finance, HR, IT, business administration, facilities and support staff functions. Must have prior and/or current management experience and have held an external facing role including working with vendors, brokers, CPAs and/or outside counsel. 

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

  •  Employee relations and engagement
  •  HR management
  •  Benefits coordination
  •  Payroll management through use of third-party payroll processor (ADP)
  •  New Hire onboarding
  •  Recruiting
  •  Performance management
  •  Assistance with scheduling firm events and retreats
  •  Performance of other duties as assigned by the Managing Partners

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • Law firm experience is preferred not a must
  • 7- 8 years of progressive experience in managing office administration, payroll and employee benefits
  • Experience with ADP resource preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling client matters, and adhering to strict deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral and written communication skills
