Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in women’s health. Responsibilities:

  • Examine Obstetric and Gynecology patients and review their medical records. Diagnose health conditions and illnesses, and propose appropriate treatments for chronic and infectious diseases.
  • Order and review diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and oversee patients’ overall health.
  • Work closely with Physicians and office staff to ensure comprehensive care. Coordinate with the healthcare team to manage patient treatment plans.
  • Inform patients about their health conditions, prescribed medications, and promote good health practices. Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics, and prevention.
  • Maintain accurate records and schedules to ensure effective management of patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA rules and regulations.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in women’s health; new graduates will not be considered.
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia and board certification required.
  • Proven clinical skills with expertise in primary, acute, and chronic care practices. Knowledge of health and patient care regulations. Excellent communication skills, strong ethics, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with patients, a positive attitude, patience, and a willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience.
  • Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinic, hospital, ER, or other healthcare settings. Expertise in primary care, acute care, and chronic care practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Strong ethics, a team spirit with a positive attitude, and the ability to remain calm and patient in stressful situations.
  • Commitment to staying updated with medical knowledge and clinical practices.
