Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and experienced candidates for a call center in a healthcare setting. These are temp-to-hire roles with opportunities for long-term employment. Successful candidates will have at least 1 year of experience in a medical call center environment, possess strong typing skills (40 WPM), and be familiar with medical terminology. 

Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) encouraged to apply. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced healthcare call center environment.
  • Manage and resolve inquiries from patients, clients, and healthcare providers.
  • Use medical terminology effectively to assist with inquiries related to healthcare services.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of calls and cases in the system.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to meet organizational goals

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical call center or similar healthcare environment.
  • Ability to type 40 WPM with high accuracy.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology (must pass a written test).
  • Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Must be available to work in-office for the first 6 months, with the potential for remote work (2 days/week) after completing training.
  • Candidates with experience in disability processing (e.g., from UNUM) are highly preferred.
