Job Description

The Marketing Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing department by maintaining internal tracking charts, databases, and filing systems. This role involves providing logistical support for seminars and other events, monitoring docket filings, and coordinating with attorneys to draft and prepare pitch materials. The successful candidate will assist with client pitch preparations, RFP responses, website maintenance, and submissions to legal ranking publications, among other tasks.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain department internal tracking charts, databases, and filing systems to ensure all marketing activities and records are organized and up-to-date.
  • Provide logistical support for marketing seminars, events, and other functions, ensuring smooth execution and coordination.
  • Monitor docket filings and alerts for target clients, coordinating with attorneys to draft pitch letters and other communications.
  • Assist attorneys with client pitch preparations and RFP responses, including editing, formatting, and proofreading documents.
  • Assist in updating attorney biographies, practice area descriptions, and other content on the firm’s website.
  • Help draft and prepare submissions to legal ranking publications, ensuring all information is accurate and compelling.
  • Conduct research to support business development efforts and marketing initiatives.
  • Execute administrative requests and manage other projects as needed to support the marketing team.

 

Must be available for frequent and last-minute overtime.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Previous law firm experience is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic and professionalism.
