Job Description

Dress code:    Black polo/gray pants

Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for issuing and distribution of commodities to include water, ice, cones, umbrellas, event signage, office appliances (microwaves, mini fridges) clocks, tents, fans, lockboxes.
  • Special Projects to include mass distribution of commodities, like policing equipment, food, and water.
  • Internal office/storage small/medium scale moves for offices.
  • Food & Beverage Distribution on an as needed basis
  • Providing drivers for picking up and returning rental vehicles
  • Coordinating light tower pre-staging
  • Coordinating with various operational elements for Mission Support related logistical requirements
  • Special Event Support; Labor Day Concert, Memorial Day Concert, 4th of July Concert, Congressional Football, Baseball, Women’s Softball, and Soccer games, enhanced operations for 1stAmendment activity etc. Supporting commodity distribution. 
  • Monitoring Radios & email for support requests
  • Client’s objective is to be a flexible, mobile team that is able to respond to the operational needs in real time.

Parking will be the candidate’s responsibility. 

Hours are Monday- Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm with opportunity for pre-approved overtime for events

Job Requirements

Qualifications

 

Must have a valid driver's license

 

  • Understanding the scope of the logistics operation, including timelines, resources, and potential obstacles.
  • Ensuring adequate supply of necessary materials, equipment, and personnel.
  • Effective communication and coordination among all stakeholders involved in the logistics chain.
  • Efficient methods for moving goods or personnel, including selection of appropriate transport modes and routes.
  • Adhering to relevant regulations and standards, such as safety, customs, and environmental regulations.
  • Identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them, including contingency planning for disruptions.
