Job Description

As a Therapist, you will provide clinical services to clients of all ages, utilizing a client-centered and family-oriented approach. Your focus will be on time-limited, goal-specific interventions tailored to each individual’s needs.

 

Salary is based on experience $55k - $118K

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients weekly, or as needed.
  • Provide individual, family, couples, and group therapy.
  • Collaborate with clients and/or guardians to develop Individual Treatment Plans and conduct required assessments.
  • Document all services accurately and in a timely manner, including progress notes and treatment plans.
  • Attend individual and group supervision sessions as required by licensing bodies.
  • Participate in mandatory meetings and training sessions.
  • Coordinate with external agencies for comprehensive treatment plans and service authorizations.
  • Maintain ongoing assessment of client needs and service effectiveness.
  • Comply with court orders and provide updates on client progress as needed.
  • Complete Comprehensive Diagnostic Assessments as assigned.
  • Build rapport and communicate effectively with clients and their families.
  • Work effectively within an interdisciplinary team, including behavioral health and primary care providers.
  • Conduct comprehensive and developmentally appropriate assessments.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, sharing updates with clients and their families.
  • Provide focused treatment, including motivational and crisis interventions.
  • Deliver culturally relevant services to clients and families.
  • Navigate the Maryland Public Mental Health System effectively.
  • Continuously assess and enhance service delivery.
  • Utilize EMR systems to improve service provision.

 

 

Client offers free CEU training and supervision.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Maryland license (LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, LCPC, LGMFT, LCMFT).
  • Experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
  • Preference for candidates available to work evenings and/or Saturdays.
  • Services may be delivered in-office, in the community, or via telehealth.
  • Master’s Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Maryland licensure in the relevant discipline.
  • Active email account and reliable internet access.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Non-traditional hours with a flexible schedule.
