Job Description

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm (In Office)

 

Responsibilities 

  • Support the development and administration of associate and staff attorney bonus and compensation programs.
  • Provide administrative support for the attorney departure process, including coordinating exit interviews and analyzing trends.
  • Document and process changes in attorney statuses (arrivals, departures, leaves of absence, compensation adjustments).
  • Manage paperwork and data entry for new and lateral attorney hires, including arrival notices and personnel files.
  • Assist in the attorney bar admission process by preparing employment affidavits and tracking bar admission status across the firm.
  • Maintain and audit legal personnel data and files, including bar and court admissions, education records, and personnel history.
  • Monitor attorney leaves of absence, secondments, and clerkships, preparing weekly reports for Talent Development directors and managers.
  • Liaise with internal and external parties to respond to requests for attorney data and analysis.
  • Prepare, audit, and submit annual master bills for ABA and DC Bar.
  • Support the Legal Personnel budget by conducting monthly audits of budget variances and preparing attorney expense reimbursements and invoices.
  • Prepare annual DC Wage Forms for attorneys based in Washington, DC.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of administrative support experience, ideally in a law firm environment.
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Experience working with viDesktop platform a plus.
  • Strong Excel skills
