NRI Legal Resources is seeking a Senior Resource Coordinator to join our Research Services team in Washington, DC. This role is ideal for an experienced library or information services professional who enjoys managing complex collections, coordinating with vendors, and supporting a global team in a dynamic legal environment.
The Senior Resource Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the firm’s resource management operations, including acquisitions, invoice processing, serials control, and print collection services. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with both internal teams and external vendors.
Support collection services across multiple offices by:
Establishing and maintaining vendor relationships and resolving billing issues.
Researching, purchasing, and processing approved print resources.
Processing invoices, recording data in acquisitions databases, and allocating client-matter charges.
Managing serials and routing records, mail distribution, and maintaining accurate holdings and patron records in the integrated library system.
Overseeing print collection maintenance, including shelving, filing, and collection review projects.
Assist with onboarding and offboarding of attorneys and staff as it relates to collection access and resources.
Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree required; a major in business administration, accounting, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of five years of experience in collection management or technical services, ideally within a law firm or business library.
Knowledge of legal and business information resources (print and electronic).
Experience with integrated library systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to providing exceptional client service.
Flexibility to work occasional additional hours as needed.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $64,000. – $80,000, depending on experience, education, and other qualifications.
