Job Description

Location: Hunt Valley, MD

Schedule: 100% in-office | Standard hours 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We are seeking a Legal Assistant to support a growing practice. This role will work closely with an experienced Estates & Trusts Paralegal and two attorneys, providing exposure estate administration and tax-related matters.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and paralegal support for probate and estate administration matters
  • Assist with preparation of estate, gift, and fiduciary tax returns
  • Organize and maintain client files and estate documentation
  • Support the experienced paralegal with day-to-day case management tasks
  • Communicate professionally with clients and internal team members
  • Assist with data tracking, reporting, and document preparation using Excel
  • Maintain confidentiality and attention to detail across all matters

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Prior Estates & Trusts experience is desired
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and willingness to learn estate and tax software
  • Ability to work in-office and collaborate in a small team environment
