Senior Litigation Paralegal (Confidential – AM 100 Law Firm) | Washington, DC (Hybrid)

A prestigious AM 100 law firm is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal to join its Washington, DC office. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with strong big law experience to support high-level litigation matters in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare affidavits, legal correspondence, and other case-related documents for attorneys
  • Organize and maintain case files in both paper and electronic systems
  • Manage administrative duties including calendaring hearings, tracking deadlines, and coordinating logistics
  • Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes
  • Organize exhibits, evidence, briefs, and appendices for filings and trial
  • File pleadings with court clerks (state and federal)
  • Attend trials and arbitrations, liaising between legal teams and internal/external stakeholders, and provide on-site support as needed

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of litigation paralegal experience, including prior experience within a large law firm (BigLaw required)
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least one in-court trial experience required
  • Ability to work overtime and travel as needed for trial support
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and litigation tools such as Relativity
  • Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of the litigation lifecycle (from case initiation through appeal)

Work Schedule:

  • Hybrid model: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote (after initial 30-day onboarding period)
