Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Travel Agent on behalf of a busy and growing corporate travel agency. This is a high-volume, fast-paced role built for a seasoned travel professional who lives and breathes Sabre GDS and thrives in a demanding agency environment. You'll manage complex itineraries, handle heavy inbound and outbound call and email traffic, and provide leadership to a team of travel consultants — all while delivering top-tier service to corporate clients. Sabre experience is mandatory. This is a fully on-site position with no remote work options.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and book complex domestic travel arrangements for corporate clients using Sabre GDS, including air, hotel, and car services
  • Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls and emails in a fast-paced business travel environment
  • Issue, exchange, and reissue airline tickets and manage itinerary changes efficiently and accurately
  • Ensure full compliance with corporate travel policies and individual client preferences
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and swift problem resolution for travel disruptions and last-minute changes
  • Provide leadership and day-to-day guidance to travel consultants and assist with workflow coordination
  • Maintain accurate client profiles and detailed booking records
  • Communicate effectively with airlines, hotels, car rental companies, and other travel vendors

Job Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of travel agency experience, preferably in a corporate or business travel environment
  • Heavy, hands-on Sabre GDS experience is required — this is non-negotiable
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high call and email volume without missing a beat
  • Strong knowledge of airline fares, ticketing, exchanges, and domestic travel regulations
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with a professional, client-focused demeanor
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay composed in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
  • Leadership or team lead experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
