We are partnering with a valued client with whom we have worked successfully for several years to identify an experienced Lead Psychiatry Administrative Assistant to support a fast-paced Psychiatry department.
This role requires a highly organized, proactive professional who thrives in a busy medical office environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting high-volume providers, managing complex schedules, and interacting directly with patients. Bilingual fluency in Spanish (spoken and written) is required.
Monday & Tuesday (Remote): 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Wednesday – Friday (On site): 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
$50,000 – $55,000 annually, depending on experience
Excellent benefits package including health benefits and generous vacation time
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Psychiatry department
Manage provider schedules for high-volume clinicians
Serve as primary telephone/front desk support and provide backup reception coverage as needed
Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and supervisors to respond to inquiries and help resolve concerns
Provide limited Spanish interpretation support when needed
Check patients in and out
Coordinate and track psychiatry records requests
Schedule initial and annual psychiatric evaluations
Complete accurate EMR data entry
Support special projects as assigned
Take meeting minutes on a rotating basis
Bilingual in Spanish (verbal and written) – required
Experience working in a fast-paced medical office environment
Strong patient-facing/customer service experience
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Proactive problem-solving abilities
Strong communication skills
Sound judgment and professionalism
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
