Position: PRN LPN to work in a correctional facility
Shift Availability:
• 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide compassionate nursing care to incarcerated individuals.
• Perform blood draws and administer medication.
• Deliver care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to the facility's protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address the physical and mental health needs of the population.
Qualifications:
• Must possess a valid DC Nursing License.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Experience in Med-Surg and Psychiatry is a plus.
• Strong clinical skills, particularly in medication administration and blood draws.
• Up-to-date vaccinations and credentialing are required.
Preferred Attributes:
• A caring and compassionate attitude towards the population served.
• Ability to handle the demands of a correctional setting with professionalism and empathy.
