Join our team at a Senior Living Community nestled in the heart of Washington DC, just minutes away from historical museums, great dining, shops, and more. Our state-of-the-art facility, only a few years old, provides a vibrant and supportive environment for our residents.
We are currently seeking a Medication LPN Nurse to oversee and manage all aspects of medication administration and treatment care for our residents. This position offers flexible PRN (as-needed) schedules, including weekdays and weekends.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules and dosages.
• Monitor residents for adverse reactions or side effects to medications and report any concerns to the appropriate medical personnel.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for residents.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medication records and documentation.
• Provide compassionate and attentive care to residents, promoting their overall health and well-being.
• Assist with other nursing duties and responsibilities as needed.
Requirements:
• Valid DC nursing license.
• Prior experience working in Senior Living or similar healthcare settings is highly desirable.
• Current CPR certification.
• Up-to-date immunizations including MMR, T-dap, Varicella, PPD, Hep B, and annual flu shot.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Salary: $40.00 per hour
