We are currently working with a Client in VA who is looking for LPN who has prior work history working with IDD patients.
This is a longer term contract position.
The License Practical Nurse is responsible for a variety of duties related to the overall care of individuals with developmental disabilities who reside in this residential programs. This includes direct care of program individuals and implementation of individual service plans (ISP) and behavior plans
(BP). License Practical Nurse are required to perform all duties in accordance with State of Virginia regulations and GRS policies and procedures. The LPN is responsible for providing direct nursing care, monitoring the health care of individuals in the assigned caseload and assisting them with accessing appropriate health care. The LPN is also responsible for monitoring the medication system and providing health related training to staff and individuals. The LPN will be reporting to RN/DON/QDDP and Upper Management. The LPN contributes to GRS’s mission by providing effective and compassionate services and through advocacy, education and leadership.
