We are seeking a skilled and compassionate IDD Reviewer to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to our developmentally disabled residents. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience working with developmentally disabled individuals in a residential setting.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed evaluations of residents to assess their individual needs, strengths, and challenges.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized service plans for each resident.
• Conduct interviews with residents and their families to gather valuable insights into the effectiveness of services provided and to ensure their voices are heard.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident progress and any changes in their condition or needs.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements, techniques, and best practices in the field of developmental disabilities.
• Liaise with external agencies and funding sources, particularly Medicaid and Medicare, to ensure proper documentation and billing procedures.
• Advocate for residents' rights and well-being, promoting their independence and community inclusion.
• Provide training and guidance to staff members on effective strategies for working with developmentally disabled individuals.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Special Education) preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of direct experience working with developmentally disabled individuals in a residential setting.
