Registered Nurse (RN) – Psych | $50/hr | Washington, DC

Are you a confident, skilled RN looking to make a real impact in behavioral health? We’re seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our team in Washington, DC. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a structured, fast-paced psychiatric setting where your clinical expertise and decision-making truly matter.

In this role, you’ll be a key part of a collaborative care team focused on patient safety, stabilization, and support.

What You’ll Do

• Administer medications and closely monitor patient responses
• Assess, observe, and report changes in patient condition and behavior
• Record vital signs and maintain timely, accurate documentation
• Monitor patients through observation systems to ensure safety
• Support medication distribution alongside LPNs
• Maintain a safe, structured therapeutic environment
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and LPNs to deliver high-quality care

Schedule & Shifts

• Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• Part-time: Minimum of 3 shifts per week
• Shifts:
  • 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

What We’re Looking For

• Active DC RN license
• Minimum of 1.5 years of RN experience in a fast-paced setting
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented mindset

Credentialing Requirements

• Current CPR certification
• Active nursing license (copy required)
• Nursing diploma or certificate
• Hepatitis B vaccination (or declination)
• Flu vaccine (within the last 12 months or declination)
• MMR immunization
• TB screening (current PPD or chest X-ray)
• Tdap (within the last 10 years)
• Varicella vaccination
