HR-Analyst 3-6 Month Contract

Large professional organization in Downtown Washington DC is seeking an experienced HR Analyst for a 3-6 month contract assignment to help organization leaders map out future positions and job descriptions their organization requires. The facility has almost 300 federal employees and the HR Analyst will interview the supervisor for these employees.
If the supervisor can't clearly describe what is needed regarding each job/person on their team, the Analyst will at that point follow up with employees while conducting need and gap analysis of current and future state of jobs.
Through an extensive interview process, understand basic job qualifications, key responsibilities, basic competencies per each organizational area, be able to synthesize and morph bits and pieces of information into cohesive job description bullets and then into job profiles.
Critical thinking, excellent communication and writing skills is required as well as ability to absorb loose concepts through interviews and formulate succinct written job descriptions.
This person will be gathering information to assist the organization as they re-vamp their career paths.
• Bachelors degree in Business, HR or related field
• Prior experience (1-3 years) in Job Analysis; Interviewing; Building Job families
• Strong Excel Skills
• Excellent Communication skills - verbal and written
Key strengths/experience needed:
- HR analysis
- HR experience
- An understanding of job structures and what a career model should look like
- Gathering of information from these 300 employees, translating the data
- Federal HR experience is a plus
