Job Opportunity: Director of Nursing
Location: Boutique Senior Living Facility – Washington, DC

We are partnering with a client to find an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) for their newly established boutique senior living facility in Washington, DC. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated and knowledgeable nurse leader to make a significant impact on a growing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage nursing operations for a 49-bed facility (currently not fully occupied).
• Ensure compliance with DC regulations and maintain standards for seamless billing processes.
• Provide leadership in staff supervision, with a minimum of 4 years of prior supervisory experience required.
• Leverage expertise in HUD laws and Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to enhance organizational performance.
• Build a strong network with other Directors of Nursing in the DC area to share knowledge and resolve challenges.
• Take a firm and effective leadership role in the facility’s operations.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid nursing license.
• Proven experience as a Director of Nursing, with an understanding of DC-specific regulatory requirements.
• In-depth knowledge of HUD laws and compliance standards for senior living facilities.
• Familiarity with Employee Value Proposition (EVP) strategies to attract and retain talent.
• Strong network and connections within the DON community in the Washington, DC area.
