Job Description

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to engage with DC Medicaid Beneficiaries, providers, insurance companies, and pharmacies by serving as a primary contact for information. This is a long-term contract and it is working remote.

You will work collaboratively with providers and staff as a liaison between Beneficiaries and other medical personnel.
Responsible for exceptional customer service by answering questions about claims status, next steps with services, and call backs.
Access claimant information
Update information
Respond to staff and beneficiary inquiries
Responsible to provide Beneficiaries with timely, accurate, and professional service, independently resolve issues and thoroughly document inquiries and outcomes.

Job Requirements

Two years of experience working in customer service (preferably in a healthcare environment working with DC Medicaid).
Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
Word, Excel, & Outlook skills.
Ability to commit to a Monday – Friday schedule
Electronic Medical Records experience
Knowledge of insurance verification and authorization, managed care and other third party payers.
