Business Development Manager

Experienced Business Development Manager sought for large DC law firm. Must have seven plus years current legal or professional services business development experience.
Duties include but are not limited to: work with practice groups to drive business growth; measure performance of business plans; work with leadership to oversee the day-to-day administration and management of marketing and business development initiatives; manage work-flow and RFP process; develop business plans; plan and manage events; develop creative marketing and business development strategies; coach attorneys regarding business development strategies; develop practice specific marketing collateral; and other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, English or Communications
- Seven plus years marketing/business development experience in a law firm or professional services firm
- Solid analytical skills
- Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple projects under tight deadline
