We are seeking a Banking and Lending Paralegal to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys in representing financial institutions, lenders, and borrowers across various banking and lending transactions. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals in the fields of commercial lending, secured transactions, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in drafting, reviewing, and organizing loan agreements, security documents, and other transactional materials.
• Supporting attorneys in advising clients on regulatory compliance issues related to banking and lending activities.
• Aiding senior attorneys with due diligence, closing transactions, and managing client communications.
• Conducting legal research and gathering information on relevant banking laws and regulations.
• Collaborating with the entire team on commercial lending matters, including real estate financing, asset-based lending, and acquisition finance.

• Eight-hour shift – must be flexible to work overtime and last-minute overtime (overtime is routine)

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal in banking, lending, or corporate law, preferably in a law firm or financial institution setting.
•  Strong drafting and organizational skills.
• Solid understanding of banking regulations, secured transactions, and loan documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Paralegal certification is a plus, but not required.

• Must have 3-5 years of relevant experience in Banking & Lending
