Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to support their busy accounting department in the Washington, DC office.

The Accounts Payable Analyst will be responsible for auditing and processing travel and expense reimbursements, issuing consulting attorney salary payments, processing domestic and foreign invoices, and performing vendor statement reconciliations.

Additional duties will also include but are not limited to processing check requests, handling petty cash distribution and balancing, and delivering cashiers check requests and deposits to the bank.

In addition, they must be able to provide high-volume processing with accuracy and efficiency in fast-paced department, while meeting deadlines. 

Some flexibility/overtime may be required.

Qualified candidates must have at least three to five years of accounts payable experience.  Law firm experience is preferred. This position requires candidates to possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and deliver prompt, professional responsiveness to all communications. 

Experience with Elite Enterprise, Chrome River, and Global Exchange international payment applications is preferred.  College degree in accounting or business related field with applicable accounting courses required.  Related work experience may be used in lieu of formal education.
