Accounts Payable Associate (New Accounting Graduates Welcome)
Location: Rockville, MD
Starting Salary: $60,000
Type: Full-Time

The Finance Department consists of approximately 70 staff members, with a dedicated Accounts Payable team of five. This opening is due to an upcoming retirement, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage Accounts Payable email inbox
Work with vendors to ensure compliance and resolve issues
Audit invoices for accuracy and proper approvals
Prepare journal entries and maintain receipts
Process in-house expense reports
Process background checks
Prepare quarterly reconciliations for AP and AR exchanges
Learn and navigate multiple accounting software systems efficiently
Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (new graduates encouraged to apply)
Ability to learn new software quickly
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication skills when working with vendors and internal teams
