Position Overview

The Accountant and Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, reconciliations, and general bookkeeping activities. This individual will also provide limited support related to HR administration and employee benefits.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Generate and manage customer invoices
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts
  • Monitor outstanding balances and assist with collections activities
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with budget tracking
  • Maintain organized accounting documentation and records
  • Provide limited support with employee benefits administration and HR-related tasks
  • Communicate professionally with internal teams, vendors, and customers

 

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required
  • Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoicing
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks required
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
