Job Description

Our client is seeking a Tax Accountant to assist with individual and business tax returns during tax season. If this sounds like you, we are looking for someone with experience in Excel, Drake Software (similar to Turbo Tax Pro) and familiarity with QuickBooks. Onsite only.

Job Requirements

Candidate must be able to:

  • Prepare, process  and file yearly business and individual tax returns
  • Assist with tax audits and appeals
  • Review /audit files for compliance and accuracy 
  • Update and maintain exemption certificates
  • Maintain tax compliance with all state business licensing and permit requirements
  • Coordinate property tax payments

Qualifications:

  • Intermediate Excel skills, Drake Software ( similar to Turbo Tax Pro) and familiarity with Quickbooks 
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent knowledge of State and Federal Tax law 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
