Job Description

Senior Real Estate Paralegal sought for AM 100 firm.  

Must have at least seven years of recent real estate paralegal experience; experience reviewing titles and surveys, as well as preparing title reports and closing binders; experience performing UCC searches and document review, in addition to corporate searches and organizing due diligence documents; expert proficiency in supporting legal business transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, securities, financing or tax activities.

  • Expert proficiency in supporting legal business transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, securities, financing or tax activities;
  • Advanced to Expert proficiency in MS Outlook and web-based conference call/web-sharing applications;
  • Advanced to Expert proficiency in MS Word and document editing/comparison applications;
  • Advanced to Expert proficiency in MS Excel and spreadsheet/database applications;
  • Advanced to Expert proficiency in MS PowerPoint and presentation applications;
  • Expert proficiency in online research and internet search resources (Lexis Nexis/Westlaw);
  • Expert knowledge of Firm and Real Estate practice-area-specific procedures and terminology;
  • Expert knowledge of relevant jurisdictional/court/agency processes and procedures;
  • Expert knowledge of timekeeping and expense reporting applications; and
  • Expert knowledge of legal billing processes.
