There is an immediate direct hire opening for a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant located in Washington, DC.  This is working for a busy concierge practice and the NP/PA will perform physical examinations, confers with patients in person and by phone/electronically, collaborates with others in the office to ensure a smooth flow of patient care consistent with established quality indicators and participates in the overall coordination of patient care.

Salary: 100K-110K

Hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm & Fridays – 8am-4pm

Responsibilities:

The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant is responsible for providing primary care services, conducting onsite health risk assessments, providing wellness education, supporting individual lifestyle changes, and helping individuals manage their chronic conditions.

The position may also be responsible for the oversight of the care delivered by the medical staff within the practice. Maintaining a collaborative relationship with the office staff is a key ingredient to success in this position.

Qualifications:

• Unencumbered DC Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant License and Board NP/PA certification
• Current DEA (or eligible for application)
• Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant program.
• Minimum 1 year experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant within a primary care/concierge practice setting
• Desire to work independently and collaborate with other providers in delivering high quality patient care.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
