Job Description

As a key member of the marketing team, you will work closely with the Marketing & Business Development Director and Managers to implement marketing plans that enhance the Firm's profile in the industry. Your responsibilities will include supporting the development and delivery of RFP responses, pitches, and presentations, as well as assisting in the planning and execution of events like webinars and seminars. You will compile information for directory submissions, create marketing materials, and conduct research on potential clients and markets. Additionally, you'll leverage the Firm’s CRM (Salesforce) and Marketing Automation tool (Pardot) for business development purposes.

Responsibilities:

  • Format and check materials for client presentations and internal meetings. Manage the pitch process for existing and prospective clients.
  • Assist with drafting and delivering responses to RFPs and RFIs.
  • Help organize practice group events, sponsorships, teleconferences, and webinars.
  • Maintain information related to RFP outcomes, manage the CRM database, and update the marketing automation system.
  • Regularly update marketing materials, including practice and attorney profiles, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Collaborate with the global marketing team on directory submissions and surveys.
  • Conduct research on prospective targets and competition using various resources.
  • Compile client information for partner conferences and meetings.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, maintain pitch book files, and handle expense reports.
  • Provide additional support to the team as needed.
  • Perform other tasks as required to help meet Firm objectives.

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Degree-level education or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-2 years of success in marketing, research, or communications, in professional services such as law, accounting, consulting or a similar corporate role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with online research resources and media tracking.
  • Basic knowledge of Salesforce; experience with similar CRMs is a plus.
  • Proficient in design tools like InDesign and Canva.
  • Experience with marketing automation systems like Pardot.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment and handle demanding tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Self-starter with initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to anticipate needs.
  • Reliable and flexible, maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion.
