Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented IDD Reviewer to join our team. This role is essential in evaluating and reviewing records related to intellectual and developmental disabilities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and to support the quality of care provided to individuals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IDD services, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and assess documentation related to intellectual and developmental disabilities to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Evaluate Individualized Support Plans (ISPs), assessments, and other records for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established guidelines.
  • Identify discrepancies or areas for improvement in documentation and provide recommendations for corrective action.
  • Ensure that all records and documentation meet regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
  • Conduct periodic audits of records and support plans to assess compliance and quality of care.
  • Prepare detailed reports on findings and assist in developing action plans for improvements.
  • Work closely with service providers, case managers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and clarify documentation requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and external partners to address issues and support continuous improvement in IDD services.
  • Provide training and support to staff on documentation practices and compliance requirements as needed.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of all reviews and audits conducted.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to IDD documentation and compliance.
  • Support the preparation of reports and presentations for internal and external audiences.

 

This is a full time remote position.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in reviewing documentation related to intellectual and developmental disabilities or similar fields.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of IDD services, regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to details
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proactive and solution-focused with a strong sense of responsibility.
