Job Summary
We are recruiting for a Criminal Defense Attorney to join the Virginia legal team, handling cases primarily in Northern Virginia and the I 95 corridor . This position is ideal for a seasoned attorney with strong litigation experience in criminal defense. The successful candidate will manage a full caseload from intake through trial or resolution and collaborate with a dedicated support team of attorneys and paralegals.
Responsibilities
Represent clients in criminal defense matters from case intake through final appeal.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with appellate cases or post-conviction relief (PCR) is a plus.
Spanish language proficiency is highly desirable.
Prior clerkship experience is advantageous.
Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership in good standing with the Virginia Bar.
3–5 years of significant criminal defense litigation experience preferably in Virginia
Strong knowledge of Virginia criminal law, court procedures, and local court systems.
Proven courtroom experience.
Compensation
$100,000 - $150,000 per year
Compensation is structured as a combination of a base draw and commission-based earnings.
