Job Description

We are currently seeking a bilingual Spanish litigation paralegal in Washington, D.C. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with attorneys on high-profile international litigation and corporate investigations, with potential travel for short- to medium-term assignments.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and manage documents for litigation and regulatory matters, including coordinating document productions.
  • Translate, review, and summarize legal and business documents, correspondence, and other written materials.
  • Obtain official documents and certificates from courts and government agencies
  • Prepare and file court documents.
  • Conduct legal and factual research and perform document searches.
  • Assist in preparation for depositions, hearings, and trials, and attend when necessary.
  • Coordinate trial logistics and set-up.
  • Attend client meetings, regulatory meetings, and court proceedings, providing support such as note-taking and managing exhibits.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal departments and external vendors, including translation services, document management providers, and trial graphics consultants.
  • Support the creation of marketing and business development materials.
  • Perform other tasks as needed in support of the team.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum of 2 years of law firm and litigation paralegal experience.
  • Fluency in Spanish (oral and written) required.
  • Exceptional organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and produce high-quality work under pressure.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness and availability to work overtime as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
